It was a very cloudy day, we met in the bus and went on the beach. Then she took those magic photographs!

Ciągłe zmiany są jedynym stałym elementem naszego życia. Jak zapewne zauważyliście na naszym blogu pojawiają się stylizacje w najróżniejszych nurtach. Nie chcemy się definiować pod jednym, czy też paroma pokrewnymi. Oczywiście mamy swoje ulubione rzeczy, jednak to nie znaczy, że nasz styl musi być zamknięty w określonych ramach. Tak jak do tej pory zamierzamy pokazywać wam inspiracje z najróżniejszych zakamarków mody i świata. Bawmy się!

Nasties could accuse us that we aren't able to describe ourselves but we just don't want to confine. Therefore on our blog you won't see one permanent style (which would bore you after some time) but you'll  meet here the styles isnpired with the most different fields of the life and regions of the world.

They move the soul's strings. Who? Portishead. " Third" takes one of the higher places in our ranking and THE RIP is one of my favourite songs on this plate. [If U like it - U should also like THE GLORY BOX.] And soon (9th of July) they'll play in Poznań! We still can't believe it!

/What about I want to talk to U today? A little bit more personal About dreams and wishes. What's our dream? Hm... have U seen 'Lost in translation'? So just look throw the window HERE(click) . It's all about that life (beside that Scarlet is lonely in this film but we're together so we'll never be alone). Susie dreams about Japan, she loves the culture and the people there. I'm love with London but I think my final objective is NYC. But I also want to see Paris (like in 'Last tango in Paris').

Height, roofs, city at sunset, city with night. It's only a pity that it's a city in Poland, in the East. It's a pity that it's not a gigantic metropolis. Damage(!) that it's 10th floor instead of 30th.

/And some about music inspirations ('cause music is very important in our life).

Do U know Rihanna? U have to know... We usually do not listen to this kind of music (which doesn't mean we can't appreciate that) but Rihanna is a special case. The musical production of her songs is a genius and music videos are a works of art! She's awesome!

Origin of symetry...

Lubimy nowoczesność i innowacyjność, także w architekturze, która nas inspiruje. Czas spędzony w Londynie i możliwość napawania się widokiem tamtejszej architektury (zwłaszcza w City!) był bezcenny, zwłaszcza, że w naszym mieście niewielu cudów budownictwa można się dopatrzeć. Niemniej jednak - idąc tropem symetrii i ciekawych konstrukcji - natrafiłyśmy na pewne ciekawe projekty. Dzisiejsza stylizacja swobodnie nawiązuje do tego tematu. Wpatrując się uważnie można zauważyć że barwne plamy na sukience układają się w kwiaty. Nie przepadam za kolorem pomarańczowym, ale w takiej ilości jeszcze go toleruję. Wszystko, co mam na sobie pochodzi z Asosa.

/We like the modernity and the innovation, also in architecture, which is inspiring us. The time spent in London and the possibility of delighting in the view of local architecture (especially in City!) was priceless, particularly that it's not possible to see many impressive buldings in our city... Nevertheless - going along the track of the symmetry and interesting structures - we found some interesting plans. The today's style is freely referring to this subject. Fixing one's eyes carefully it's possible to notice that colourful stain on a dresses are negotiating into flowers. I'm not very fond of an orange colour but in such an amount I still tolerate it. Everything what I'm wearing comes from Asos.

Namiastka idealnego ogrodu w moim ulubionym stylu. 

Kiedyś stworzę miejsce, do którego przyjedzie sam Monty Don. Uwielbiam go!

Letnia sukienka pochodzi z ubiegłorocznej kolekcji Zary. W bieżącej mimo wielu prób i podejść nie odnajduję zbyt wielu inspirujących rzeczy. 

Biała marynarka pochodzi od Jasper'a Conran'a. Jestem w niej zakochana, więc pewnie nie jest to jej ostatnie słowo.

Wiele się działo ostatnimi czasy, ale tak jak obiecywałyśmy - już jesteśmy [dobra, trochę spóźnione] z powrotem i bierzemy się do pracy ze zdwojoną siłą!

We need some time...

W wyniku kilku podróży (małych i dużych) oraz pracy ilość czasu jaki możemy poświęcić blogowi uległa drastycznemu zmniejszeniu. Jest to na szczęście stan przejściowy. Mamy kilka pięknych wizji, które chcemy zrealizować w najbliższym czasie, a rezultaty naszej pracy i podróży będziecie mogli zobaczyć już wkrótce. 

/As a result of a few journeys (small and big) and work the amount of the time which we can devote to the blog underwent the drastic reduction. It is fortunately the interim period. We have a few gr8 visions which we want to carry out and you'll be able to see results of our works and journeys already soon. 

Ostatnio S. wprowadzała modernizację ułożenia swoich magazynów i książek i natknęła się na MM Magazine Spring-Summer 2007. To chyba jeden z jej ulubionych numerów za sprawą edytoriala z okładki. 

/Recently S. implemented the modernization of arranging the magazines and books in her closet and she found the MM Magazine (Spring-Summer 2007). It's probably one of her favourite numbers behind the matter of edytorial from the cover.

School time

         Czujesz się stara i zmęczona? Brakuje Ci radości życia? Zamiast kupować kolejny krem przeciwzmarszczkowy, ubierz się jak uczennica!  To najzdrowsza i najłatwiejsza kuracja odmładzająca. Nie codziennie musimy przecież wyglądać jak bizneswomen. Odrobina szaleństwa i wspomnień ze szkolnych czasów jeszcze nikomu nie zaszkodziła.

A teraz na poważnie, nie chciałybyśmy nosić w szkole mundurków, to chyba najbardziej ograniczająca forma kontroli nad nastolatkami. Owszem, są dni w roku, kiedy obie lubimy tak wyglądać. 

Susie ma na sobie typową, grubą, wełnianą i plisowaną spódnicę. Sweterek ma dekolt karo, spod któego wystaje fragment białej koszuli. Uroku dodają  płaskie buty i zakolanówki z kokardką. Torebka jest typową szkolną teczką, z krótką rączką do trzymania, zapinaną na klamerki - ta forma króluje ostatnio na wybiegach. Oczywiście całość w odpowiedniej tonacji kolorystycznej. Typowa uczennica z UK (i nie tylko). 

Caroline ma na sobie granatową, plisowaną spódnicę ozdobioną rzędem guziczków z przodu [prawdziwy mundurek! - miał wyszyte czyjeś imię na szluwce w środku], sweterek w ulubionym kolorze i oczywiście nie zapominamy o takich zakolanówkach, które są bardzo charakterystycznym elementem stroju uczennicy. Takie połączenie kolorów jest typowe dla francuskich dziewczyn. Cięższe buty za kostkę przełamują całość. 

/Do you feel old and tired? Do you miss the joie de vivre? Instead of to buy next cream against wrinkle get dressed as the pupil! It is a healthiest and simplest rejuvenation therapy. We don't have to look as a business everyday . A bit of the frenzy and memories from school times harmed nobody.  And now on seriously, we wouldn't like to wear uniforms at school, it is a probably the most limiting form of the control over teenagers. Indeed there are days in the year when we both like to look this way. Susie is having on the typical, thick, wool and pleated skirt. The sweater has the triangular neckline from which the fragment of the white shirt is sticking out. Flat-heeled shoes and the stockings with the bow are giving the charm. The bag is a standard school file with the short handle for holding, done up to small buckles - this form is recently reigning on runways. Of course whole in the appropriate colour scheme. Typical pupil from UK (and not only). Caroline is having the dark blue, pleated skirt decorated with the row of small button at the front on [real uniform! - had embroidered someone's name on the internal side], the sweater in the favourite colour and of course we don't forget about stockings which are a very characteristic element of the pupil's look. That combining colours of dresses is typical for French girls. Heavier Fs for the bone are breaking the whole.

Talk too much.

   Skunk anansie - Talk too much  - to apel do samej siebie ostatnio. Mój ulubiony kawałek  'skunksów i ananasów' [w naszym wolnym tłumaczeniu :P] to Charlie Big Potato  z płyty Post Orgasmic Chill (mówiłam już?). W zeszłym roku S.A. byli na Openerze, w tym - mają pojawić się na Orange Warsaw Festival - wybieracie się? My  z pewnością.
  Po zajęciach z rysunku [może kiedyś coś pokażę] wybrałam się do jednego ze swoich ulubionych lumpeksów i znalazłam taki oto sweterek:

  Na blogu już niedługo rusza dział STREET FASHION W NASZYM MIEŚCIE w związku z czym ostatnio trochę polowałyśmy na ludzi. Reakcje były zaskakująco pozytywne! A wyglądałyśmy tak:

Wake up straight, caught out by the sun on the first day of April!

  Czekając na rychłe nadejście ciepłej wiosny postanowiłyśmy pokazać coś, co się z nią raczej nie kojarzy.   Jak zwykle pozostaje bez odpowiedzi pytanie: czy gonić za nowinkami ze świata mody, czy pozostać wiernym własnym zachciankom? Zazwyczaj najlepszą receptą jest polemika, lecz teraz, gdy oczy wszystkich zwrócone są na nadchodzące trendy, gdy wszędzie pojawiają się odniesienia do tego, co widzieliśmy na wybiegach, my się na owe trendy wypinamy!
 Miękko układający się dół sukienki, lakierki i kryształkowe sopelki, to wszystko, na co ma teraz Susie ochotę. Niestety, a może stety,  światem rządzą obowiązujące kanony, a ja mogłabym chodzić ubrana w podobnym stylu co drugi dzień. (Pozostaje tylko wyjechać i dołączyć do Starszych Pań ze Skandynawii.)


 /While we are waiting for the warm spring we decided to show something not-associating with it... As usual the question without the reply is: chase behind news from fashion world or stay faithful for own whims? Polemics are usually the best prescription. But when everyone's eyes look on the coming trends we are thumbing our nose at those trends! 
[Because of weather - again inside.] Soft dress, varnished shoes and crystal icicles are what Susie has the willingness to. Unfortunately  (or fortunetly) binding canons are ruling this world... but I could walk dressed in the similar style every second day - so it remains only to leave and to attach to an elderly ladies from the Scandinavia.
